Peter Grubel, M.D.

      Dr. Grubel received his medical degree from University of Ulm, Germany. He completed his residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center Boston and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology / Hepatology at New England Medical Center in Boston. He is trained in ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). He has extensive experience in sonography and was awarded a PhD in ultrasonography in Germany.

Dr. Grubel is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology. He joined Gastroenterology Consultants in 2002.

Dr. Grubel has been named as one of "America's Top Physicians" in the April, 2008 edition of "Guide to America's Top Physicians" published by "The Consumers' Research Council of America". He serves as Chief of Medicine at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial.

His interests in Gastroenterology are broad with a special interest in liver and pancreatic disorders and endoscopic ultrasound.
