Vikram D. Gopal, M.D.

      After attending Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, for his undergraduate work, Dr. Gopal continued on to Emory's School of Medicine. From Emory, he moved down to Gainesville, Florida where he completed his internship and residency at the Internal Medicine Department at the University of Florida. While in Gainesville, Dr. Gopal earned two Outstanding Resident Teaching Awards. From Gainesville, Dr. Gopal traveled to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Wake Forest University. While at Wake Forest, Dr. Gopal was appointed Chief Fellow for the 2005-2006 term. Finally, Dr. Gopal has returned to his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida to practice medicine at the Borland-Groover Clinic.
