William Drewry practiced internal medicine at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, Indiana for two years, rising to the rank of U.S. Army Capitain before joining the private sector. After providing medical services to various corporations, he joined the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. Following his 21 years in Dothan, he relocated to Jacksonville and completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Florida Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. Finally, he joined the Borland-Groover Clinic family of physicians in March of 1996. He continues to practice at the Fernandina Beach location at Baptist Medical Center Nassau.
